public hearing on proposed Connecticut River Greenway

The City of Northampton Office of Planning and Development announced a meeting about the proposed Connecticut River Greenway. This should be a great opportunity to hear more about this exciting project to connect the trail network to Hatfield as well as make better links to the river.

Bike Week festivities, Ribbon-cutting, New map and brochure plus newsletter

There’s lots happening this week. Wednesday, May 18th is the Northampton Bike Breakfast, on the courthouse lawn. Smith College will be receiving our trail neighbor award . . .

Fred Contrada in the Republican reports that the land purchase of approximately 0.2 miles of land in Williamsburg has been completed.
