The first-ever meeting of the ad-hoc Volunteer Trail Maintenance group is on:Wednesday,October 26th at 7 pm at Trailside Realty,14 Strong Avenue,Northampton. At this meeting we’ll plan the dates for the fifth annual . . .  The Friends of Northampton Trails and Greenways selected Smith College as the recipient of our Trail Neighbor award for 2011. This distinction is given annually to an individual,family,or organization that works on behalf of the Northampton rail trail network. . . . Just in time for Bike Week (see here for a complete listing),we’ve made our new map and brochure as well as summer newsletter available (click here to download). There’s lots happening this week. Wednesday,May 18th is the Northampton Bike Breakfast,on the courthouse lawn. Smith College will be receiving our trail neighbor award . . .
